Description
Background
Franziska Salfeld has a lifetime of experience at court and being, first, the younger sister of a lofty count and, later, the aunt of a powerful duke. She has been a frequent sight at the court in Sanctuary for decades, which is where she met her husband, Lord Xander Regas. The two were rather taken with one another, and Franziska was able to successfully spin it as a political gain to her brother, who accommodated the marriage.
In all those years in court, Franziska has always been quite happy to insert herself into people's business, at least provided they are conducting it publicly. It has never been a subtle pursuit of hers, but it's always done with a smile and good grace, at least. It has even led to her having some admirers over the years for perceived boldness.
Personality
Franziska meddles. Planning a gathering? If she hears of it, she will offer her views on the best place to host it and the best musicians to invite. She does actually have superb insight about venues and in music, and indeed the arts as a whole. Mulling a political move? She will opine at length on the upsides and downsides and the possible implications. This is often perhaps surprisingly well informed. Going to war? Actually, she doesn't offer too many opinions on that, but she is certainly going to ask about it.
Despite what might be an absolute nuisance of a personality trait in some people, Franziska has managed to turn it into something almost charming. People have regarded it as bold in the past, or as genuine concern, or being proactive and involved. Of course, some still regard it as a bit of a menace, but Franziska often simply needs to turn on the charm, and soon all is well again. Or, on occasion, she might even see herself out.
Notable Traits
Franziska is an able socialite with a penchant for getting involved in others' business. Sometimes it works, occasionally not so much.
