Lady Sieglinde Lindner

A younger sister and a younger cousin, Sieglinde grew up with a lot to live up to among her immediate family, never mind the Lindner legacy. She knows of the exploits of her father and uncle. Her uncle was named constable of Alina's Fastness. When she was still a teenager, her older brother, Manfred, joined the Knights Custodian. Her slightly older cousin then became countess. There was never any question in Sieglinde's mind that she should match or even exceed all of these exploits.

In 629, her uncle vanished in an expedition to the Terror. Sieglinde was not yet of age and not yet completed her training in any event, and her father declined her repeated requests to accompany the searches, telling her it would be wrong to bring a youth and wrong to bring someone untrained to war. She sulked for a time.

Fully trained and as of late 631, given leave to determine her path from there onwards, Sieglinde has a host of possibilities in front of her. The empire appears to be beset, from without and indeed from within, with the ever-present threat to good order and proper rule. The place to instruct on proper conduct, to engage in society as appropriate, and to find worthy tasks to undertake is Sanctuary.

Sieglinde is dedicated and energetic. She has a lot to live up to and wishes to get to it with appropriate alacrity. She might not have the experience of the various family members she seeks to emulate, but she's certainly not short on confidence - possibly unfounded confidence in some cases, although she is in fact quite skilled at arms. She is a devout adherent of the Cult of Valon and is not the slightest bit shy about pointing out the perceived shortcomings of nobility, even including those who have nothing to do with the cult at all.

Sieglinde is a skilled if inexperienced knight, bold and confident.
