Zygmunt Fletza

A white streak of a birth mark within this man's hair has been mostly masked by keeping the styling of his wavy locks short, almost cropped entirely to his skull. Though his brow is lined -- likely prematurely from worries -- the rest of his face holds a touch of youthfulness in his crystal-clear blue eyes and his usually pleasant expression. His height is average and his build is stocky, likely prone to plumpness if he becomes inactive in his older age.

Zygmunt was raised as immersed in maritime tradition as most of his family, and he has spent his share of time aboard boats, especially as a young adult, as did his younger sister, Janina. In 630 though, he turned his focus towards dealing with what happens in coastal villages should the fleet fail. It is a well-intentioned, conscientious excercise, even though the fleet had been able to fend off the worst of any raids for some years.

Zygmunt took to spending more time ashore, going between villages, both those of House Fletza and indeed the various smaller houses in the region which habitually defer to the Fletzas, to look at what preparations they might have in the event of an attack. He has taken to training militias and even trying to arrange for new armaments for them, though it is an expensive prospect. He has travelled elsewhere too, usually on request in the event of trouble elsewhere in the Commonwealth.

Zygmunt is an amicable, agreeable fellow, and deeply conscientious. He strongly believes in the need to keep the people under the guardianship of his house as secure as can be. While he is a warrior with a fair amount of experience, he has something of an aversion to fighting other people, though the twisted raiders from the Terror don't count as people in his view. He will if pressed, but tries to avoid situations where it arises. He has spent his share of time now organising people who are neither professionals nor particularly obliged to actually fight, and makes for a persuasive speaker about the necessity for learning anyway.

Zygmunt is an able leader, good at convincing ordinary people to stand up for themselves.
