Description

Broad as a proverbial barn, this man, just blooming from the throes of youth's enfolding grasp, is thick with muscle; in fact, his muscles might even have muscles. He is stout and sturdy, from the set of his strong, square jaw to the hum of power in his hands and the soldier's quick clipped gait with which he carries himself. However, if it weren't for his impressively honed physique, his features, while noble, would be unremarkable: hair a middling shade of brown is cropped close in a martial style and his eyes are a common shade of blue.

Background

Someone once joked that Andreas Karalis must have somehow taken after one of the dwarves of Wayguard, not for his height, but for his broad and inordinately strong build. Andreas is the younger brother of Panos Karalis, and both were given martial training at a young age, though Andreas took to it better. He soon proved to be an able fighter and, even more than that, a fabulous athlete, in fields requiring both strength and endurance. He hasn't the same impulse to explore as his brother does, but for those who care for a non-too-subtle companion, Andreas is a popular choice.

Finding himself here and there as he follows others on his travels, Andreas has taken to showing off in impromptu feats of strength and athleticism, and sometimes challenges locals too. A minor noble once attributed the moniker Bull of Trapezus to him after he set an overloaded wagon to moving at considerable speed along a path. He was chuffed enough, however simple the feat, that he adopted it for himself and is given to announcing himself with it sometimes.

Personality

Andreas is happy to follow family on their outings, or to be directed in what to do by a person appointed to senior office in Wayguard. He doesn't care one bit for the burden of trying to organise himself at sometimes, much less others. He's not lazy - far from it - but his priorities are in his athletic and martial pursuits and putting his great capacity for them to use. Where his brother Panos is quiet, Andreas can be loud, though the two are otherwise alike enough; they like doing what they do and don't care to be drawn into anything else. While Andreas might challenge someone to a physical contest at the drop of a hat, he's a gracious winner and loser, and enjoys meeting people with the same interests as he has.

Notable Traits

Andreas is an excellent athlete and an able fighter.
