Lady Elektra Aetos

Elektra is the slightly younger sister of Duchess Melissa Aetos and a close co-conspirator since childhood. The open curiosity of youth turned to a propensity in adulthood for learning more about people than they might ever have intended to disclose. Elektra was a key factor in putting everything in place for her older sister's smooth ascension to the rule of Malthini and Taras. She ensured the loyalty of those in key positions, or contrived to put those who might be less loyal in places where they could not interfere with the handover of power. After Melissa became duchess, Elektra was placed in charge of intelligence.

Her time since then has been one of building up a broad network. Her role is not secret, nor is how she helped to put her sister in power, but she nonetheless maintains a certain level of discretion about her work. How much of her focus is turned inwards towards the many problems faced by the two duchies, as opposed to towards external matters, is something she keeps quite to herself.

Elektra is suave, outwardly easygoing, and really very good at saying a lot without saying anything at all. She can keep a conversation going for a long time and shows genuine interest in people. People might and do know very well that Elektra is in charge of espionage, but speak with her anyway.

She has a fine memory and when she writes anything down, it is often a fragment of a note, surely not long enough to do more than simply jog her memory, rather than remind her of whatever it was in full. She has many acquaintances of many walks of life. Which are her agents and which are simply people she knows is kept a mystery.

Elektra is adept at espionage and is good with people.
