Description
Background
Keturah grew up a niece to the previous sufet of and was raised primarily in Meseh Nome. Even as a youth, was known and of curiosity to her, a stark contrast to her younger sister, Orina, who on reaching adulthood immersed herself in military training instead. The Labyrinth might only have been properly visible when Keturah climbed on top of a building to get a proper look towards the great jungle, but it was there all the same, not even quite over the horizon. When she was old enough and indeed trained enough to do so, she took to joining security details along the jungle's edges.
Over the years, she has become sufficiently familiar with the Labyrinth that she has the confidence to move alone through its fringes. She has never ventured deep into it - nobody does - but she has been just far enough to be able to provide an early warning of coming trouble, all while evading it herself.
Personality
Some might wonder if Keturah has a complete disregard for danger. Far from it, in fact. She is acutely conscious of the danger that she puts herself in, but she has been doing so for long enough that she is confident in her capacity to avoid it - her reserve of cool isn't quite so endless should she be spotted. is a fascinating place, too, the very edge of the known world, and every step farther south might take her to places never seen before, although also farther and father from the safety of .
With House Phavah looking outward to the world after so long a period of isolation, she is among their number to have decided to reach out too. In her case, the state of Anput and Meseh are more matters for others in the house, unless they seek her directly. For her, there is a chance to tread the very edge of the world elsewhere.
Notable Traits
Keturah is lightfooted and able scout, with particular experience in the Labyrinth.
