Miroslaw Vanzek

A finger's width shy of average height, this man's frame is dense from indulgence. Alongside his thick build is his perpetually impish expression, the stars of which are his clear, sky blue eyes. His lantern jaw's breadth is minimized beneath the shade of coppery red stubble, though his cheeks are, in a word, chubby -- and they swell further when he smiles with his full lipped mouth. His strawberry blond hair is cropped short and is slicked away from his brow.

The eldest son of Irma Vanzek and a nephew of the late Queen Aldona, Miroslaw has followed in the footsteps of his mother and aunt in certain respects, with his own rather particular flair and spin later added. An astute student of politics and diplomacy, he has on occasion officially represented the house.

More often though, he has not sought any specific task or appointment from his family, but rather attended to matters he has involved himself in personally. He has acted as a go-between and general fixer for many people, even quite unrelated to the Vanzeks, or even to the Commonwealth. He has spent enough time in Sanctuary to be broadly familiar with imperial politics and is quite happy to get stuck into them.

Miroslaw is suave, slick, and firm when he wants to be. He's a man who makes arrangements and is quick to insinuate himself into others' business and make it to at least some extent his own. When he hears of a person who has a problem, he often assures them that he could fix it. What this usually then involves is finding someone else who could actually fix it, and putting the two in touch with one another. He does this wherever he might find himself, whether in the Prosna Valley, elsewhere in the Commonwealth, Sanctuary, or even farther afield. Had he been born a commoner, Miroslaw might have made for a very successful hawker.

Miroslaw is an astute observer of people and is good at making various political arrangements.
