Natalia Sikorin

This woman's warm presence and demeanor is bundled in a delicately feminine frame. Her eyes are kind, a sifted cocoa in color, and her hair is a rich shade of auburn. The adroitness of her social grace extends into the minutiae of her movements, from the way she holds things in her meticulously groomed fingers to the way her smile arcs up at a perfect angle, down to the exact degree.

Natalia Sikorin is a second cousin to the current boyar, Sigitas, and younger sister of Felicja Sikorin. Natalia and Felicja's mother, Aneta, is a Sikorin, while their father, Nico, born Nico Karalis, is a distant relative of Countess Elene Karalis. Natalia is close enough in age to Sigitas that the two have been well acquainted since childhood, though even since childhood, Natalia has been given to making acquaintances with everyone who passes within her field of vision, hampered only by the fact that there are only so many hours in the day. As an adult, it was amply clear that, even if she were not quite useless at martial endeavours, she would be fabulously suited as a permanent representative in the imperial court in Sanctuary.

Natalia has lived more or less full-time in Sanctuary for years now, with just sporadic visits to her home, and she has settled in splendidly. If she comes across an unfamiliar noble at the court, she makes a point of making their acquaintance. If they're not a noble? No matter; she introduces herself anyway. Of course, all the while, the purpose is ultimately to, though not perhaps the matter she leads with, have people she can contact should House Sikorin require aid, and the fact, of course, is that House Sikorin very often requires aid.

If one asked what the stereotype of someone from the Expanse is, someone might state that it is a person who is in every way the opposite to Natalia. Natalia has no inclination at all to spend her time in the tundra of her home, preferring the bustle of Sanctuary and the temperate climate. She has no interest in martial matters, being a peaceable individual with no appetite for violence, even for the best of causes. For all that, she does understand the importance of what she is doing in Sanctuary: should House Sikorin falter, or even indeed House Albalaski, then there would be a bleak future indeed in store for the people of the Commonwealth.

Natalia is a softly spoken individual with an understated sense of humour. She delights in meeting people, and takes every opportunity that she can to do so. She routinely hosts small, often impromptu gatherings of her various friends and acquaintances. She is an able musician and singer, like her older sister, Felicja.

Natalia is an adroit socialite, thriving in one-to-one environments or with small groups.
