Rafal Fletza

This young man has the bone structure of someone who might eventually settle into a thick, middle-aged spread. For now, however, his strength manifests in youthful vitality and capability; his arms and legs move, lift, and work with virile muscle. His eyes are as blue as a clear, noontime sky and his pale golden locks resemble the thin dawn sunshine behind a sheer curtain of wispy clouds. His countenance is chiseled -- again, for now -- but his cheeks are often rosy from exertion and exhilarated passion.

Rafal is the son of Boyar Jurand and Teresa Fletza, and those who knew Jurand when he was younger have commented that he in virtually every respect resembles his father. He has trodden in his father's footsteps since a young age indeed. Some people might teach their children manners. Jurand teaches that manners are for those who are friends and that at all other times, Rafal must be strident and forthright about the interests of his house and his allies.

Rafal has been educated thoroughly enough on who those allies are and the position of House Fletza as a power-broker in the Commonwealth. He even spent a time whisked away to the academy in Myos at his mother's behest, to undergo some formal education in rhetoric and, less to Jurand's tastes, mathematics.

Rafal still has a way to go to match the presence of his father, but he's certainly going to do his best at it, and let everyone around him know it.

Rafal is loud and brisk. He is much alike his father in virtually every respect, but without his father's long experience. He speaks, vociferously and forthright, but perhaps does not know when exactly he should stop all the time, or might even miss cues where his father would be on his feet and declaiming to all within earshot about one matter or another. This doesn't stop Rafal for one moment from trying to keep up. He does his best to keep abreast of imperial politics, or otherwise receives notice from his family. Since he does not have quite the same range of responsibility as his father, nor even the same opportunities to speak at times, Rafal sometimes looks to more minor matters. He can be an ardent advocate indeed for his friends in court, and will not be silenced until he has said his bit.

Rafal is a boisterous public speaker, though he doesn't always pick his moments well.
