Exalted Tamar Heshbeh

She's a petite woman with striking features and glowing, light olive skin. Her eyes are large and are a startling shade of blue-green. They are framed by thick dark lashes and perfectly arched brows. Her face is heart-shaped, delicate yet defined, with high cheekbones and a smooth jawline. Her nose is straight. She has full lips which are often smiling or laughing, though sometimes, under the right circumstances, can form a disgruntled little pout. Her light brown hair is long and full of glossy curls. It is usually pulled back neatly with a few soft strands framing her face.

Tamar is the eldest child of Kothar Heshbeh, head of House Heshbeh and ruler of Pearlsedge and Heka Nome. Hadashi custom means that Tamar is therefore else the heir to the ancient legacy of House Heshbeh, reaching back 1,700 years. It is a position of the utmost gravity, which Tamar might maybe acknowledge now and then between one of her many parties. They are often lavish affairs, and not infrequently feature unusual quirks, such as being hosted at the house of a commoner who was not in fact informed in advance, or on a pier just as a Cornucopian vessel is unloading cargo.

Civil administration and commerce are key to House Heshbeh's prosperity, but Tamar has never made for a good student of those matters. Rather, she is known already for being the life of Pearlsedge, throwing parties so grand that people even travel from the nomes along the Emerald River to attend. As of 632, she has decided that the people of Sanctuary are also in need of her particular brand of hosting, and she finds herself there too.

For all the weight her father places on legacy, he has never actually done anything to deter Tamar from her particular path.

Tamar has apparently boundless energy and enthusiasm for all manner of social activities. The gatherings she hosts are frequently lavish affairs, and occasionally embellished with some manner of mischief. Her own antics often stray into the mildly troublesome or even by the reckoning of some in the empire would verge into outrageous or scandalous territory. Tamar, of course, is an exalted noble of Hadash, and therefore by Hadashi custom, whatever she does must obviously be noble. Of course, that is not the view of all in the empire.

Tamar isn't necessarily unaware that she is heir to the Heshbeh legacy, but it rarely ever presents at the forefront of her mind. She has other things to concern herself with!
