Game Rules
The key rule is that you be decent and courteous with other players on the game. For purposes of the game rules, "player" refers to the real people playing the game, and "character" to the fictional characters they portray.
I am running this game as a hobby for myself and others. If someone is a disruptive nuisance or generally badly behaved, I can ban them as suits me.
Player Age
All players must be at least 18 years of age.
Sexual Content
If you are going to write any sexual content, don't do it in a public area, and make sure that everyone else in the room is okay with it too.
Don't Be Creepy
Don't be creepy towards other players. If someone is being creepy, submit a request or page or mail Ada.
Choice to Participate
Any player may, because this is of course an online game, cease participation at any time. If somebody states that they are opting out of a scene, do not try to push them to remain. Opting out does not mean that a character avoids consequences for anything that happened in a scene up to that point.
Number of Characters
Subject to review after the game opens, a player may only have one character on the game.
Idle Players
If a player goes 28 days without logging on to their character, that character will be returned to the roster of available characters. People whose characters are rostered are welcome to return to the game. If you expect to be gone for 28 days or longer, please submit a request.
If a character is in a position where persistent low activity on their player's part may hinder the progression of stories for other players, that character may be returned to the roster.
In-Character and Out-of-Character Information
Distinguish between what your character knows and what you have learned from other players which your character would not reasonably know when portraying them.
Character Images
You can upload images to your character's gallery. Keep them safe for work.
AI Usage
I'd really prefer to see people's own words than those of an LLM. Please, even if you aren't a confident writer, write in your own words. This rule isn't particularly enforceable unless it's flagrantly obvious that it's an LLM. Just please use your own words.
