Realm of Kordris
The is a landlocked place in central Elthos. It has a strong martial culture, though unlike eastern Elthos, not much of a tradition of honour. is a popular deity among Kordrisi nobility, but not dominant. The realm avoids bouts of in-fighting mostly by dint of finding better opportunities for pillage elsewhere. Its nobility only rarely care for conquest, when they can plunder, wait for foreigners to rebuild, and plunder once more.
Kordris sits amid many other polities, large and small. Border skirmishes between the Kordrisi and others are frequent, though rarely escalate to large-scale war. More often, a single Kordrisi comital or ducal house will loot a foreign county then return home. This can go both ways though. In 620, a Kordrisi duchy suffered an ignominious defeat at the hands of adventurers from and the Iron Counties, who seized a castle by subterfuge, and absconded with much of the ducal treasury.
