The Divine Assembly

The Divine Assembly is a minor theocratic realm situated to the northwest of the Empire of Adana, based around the Church of Siegfried's Light. Siegfried is a fierce warrior god, whose devotees are committed to bringing His light to the dark corners of the world and searing away evil. The church has a presence in the empire itself, but nothing like the power it holds in the Divine Assembly.

The Divine Assembly has mostly cordial relations with the empire, which maintains a consistent diplomatic presence to ensure that the Assembly's roving knights are always committed to a suitable task which does not involve intrusion past imperial borders. The Assembly is a doughty ally indeed in any battle against inhuman beings, but one to be wary of if its warriors find themselves idle and look for more minor forms of evil - they are not disposed towards nuance or subtlety.
